WomenInCreativePower is a 2 year project founded in frames of the Erasmus+ programme – Luxembourgish NA Anefore. It seeks to address gaps in the integration process of migrant and refugee women, seeking to improve their employability and establish and strengthen ties with their new communities.
As such, WICP seeks to make an important contribution for the full integration of migrant and refugee women in their receiving communities and labor markets by promoting the intercultural and diverse enrichment of European societies.
The project includes efforts to promote:
– linguistic and socio-cultural orientation suitable to enter the labor market in creative sectors;
– exchange of experiences and creative skills;
– the fostering of a network of contact among migrant and refugee women and local women/women integrated in the receiving communities;
– increased capability of women in business and entrepreneurship skills
The partner organisations involved in the project are from Luxembourg (FSL), Sweden (SwIdeas), Hungary (Foundation of Subjective Values) and Slovenia (Povod, Institute for Culture and Development of International Relations in Culture) therefore all the data mentioned in the post is about those 4 countries and the migrant women living there.
