On the 9th of June the SwIdeas team held a multiplier event in STPLN in Malmö as part of the Women in Creative Power project! The event was held as a workshop series, where 5 creative female entrepreneurs with foreign backgrounds had the chance to showcase their work and hold short sessions on music production Lora Grigorova, creative painting @lorena Ojeda, tea culture for community building Dakota Lagercrantz, tufting techniques Daniela Doe, storytelling & brand markenting! This video was produced as part of our WomIn Creative Power (WICP) project, which is a KA2 Strategic Partnership co-funded by the Erasmus + of the European Union. The project is led by Formation et Sensibilisation de Luxembourg – FSL (Luxembourg), and involves a transnational partnership with Sweden (SwIdeas AB), Hungary (SVF), and Slovenia (Povod).
WICP aims to support the economic integration of migrant women into their receiving communities by investing in the development of skills related to entrepreneurship and to the creative sector. This approach emerges from the perception that self-employment and entrepreneurship represent a promising pathway for migrant women to access the labour market.
